Reduced Fee Referral Program

The Morris-Sussex Reduced Fee Referral Program is a program available to litigants in Morris and Sussex Counties who do not qualify for pro bono legal services and/or the Public Defender, but who cannot afford to pay an attorney at rates ordinarily charged. Individuals who meet the income requirements for the program will be referred to an attorney who may represent them at a reduced rate. THE REDUCED FEE REFERRAL PROGRAM DOES NOT OFFER FREE, OR PRO BONO, ATTORNEY REPRESENTATION.

To apply for the program, you must complete the ONLINE PROGRAM APPLICATION and submit the $30.00 application fee to the Morris County Bar Association. If you are eligible for the program, a referral will be emailed to you. The Reduced Fee Referral Program does not provide referrals over the telephone and the office is not open to the public. A printable version of the online application is available at the bottom of this page. If you return the printable version of the online application to our office via mail, it must be accompanied by a Money Order made payable to the Morris County Bar Association in the amount of $30.00. No applications will be processed without payment of the $30 non-waivable fee.

The Morris-Sussex Vicinage Reduced Fee Referral Program takes cases in every Division in the Superior Court and on the Municipal Level.
